DRI WASH 'n GUARD® ULTRA-ION™ Waterless Car Wash

It is extremely important that DRI WASH 'n GUARD® ULTRA-ION™  be applied with a DRI WASH 'n GUARD® Car AIRosol pump sprayer only. Use on hard, non-porous surfaces only. Pre-test on inconspicuous area before use. Can be used over surface containing moderate level of dust, dirt, road grime or salt.

Refill Procedures:

• Unscrew collar nut at neck of AIRosol pump sprayer and remove internal spray mechanism
• Invert bottle of product, shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds
• Pour contents into AIRosol pump sprayer until 75% full
• Re-Install spray mechanism and collar nut

Directions By Hand:

1.     Apply Dri Wash 'n Guard® ULTRA-ION™ to a cool, dry surface in a shaded area. Avoid windy conditions if possible.

2.     Use two soft, clean micro-fiber towels... one for applying the product and one for buffing. Invert the AIRosol pump sprayer and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.

3.     Pressurize the bottle by pumping the cap "up and down" until a strong resistance is felt (approx. 10-15 times).

4.     Spray a light coat of Dri Wash 'n Guard® ULTRA-ION™ on a small section of vehicle (2-3 sq. ft.), spraying with a broad sweeping motion where possible.

5.     Using the application towel, with moderately firm pressure, massage polish thoroughly over the sprayed area until the filmy haze that developed almost disappears.

6.     Buff the remaining haze to a high gloss with the DWG buffing towel

Exactly what is Dri-Wash 'n Guard®?

DRI WASH N GUARD® is a combination car wash, polish and protective glaze which is applied directly to a dirty surface without the use of water, it contains no waxes, nor is it simply a polish.

Waxes do a good job of "protecting" but often leave the paint dull. Polishes are great at removing minor stains and blemishes, and are much more capable of rejuvenating dull paint. But polishes often are abrasive, and provide very little protection on the paint surface. Paint sealants protect very well, but cannot clean or polish. A vehicle's paint must be virtually pristine before the sealants can be applied. How is it possible to apply DRI WASH 'n GUARD® over a dirty surface?

DRI WASH 'n GUARD® contains 47 ingredients, including wetting agents, lubricants and protectants which have never been used by the car care industry.

The detergents and wetting agents in DRI WASH 'n GUARD® combine to soften and emulsify surface grime, while a specific blend of polymeroxane fluids and hydrophenolic lubricants attach a microscopic layer of exclusive PolyGuard-3® to the surface. 

PolyGuard-3® is an extremely rare (and expensive) substance which provides a bonded layer of protection against any remaining abrasive not broken down by the detergents and wetting agents.

The River-Friendly Fundraiser Carwash Program was developed to provide guidance and help facilitate successful fundraiser carwashes while protecting local creeks and rivers from the pollution that can be carried in the wastewater from carwashing activities.

Dri Wash N Guard distributors around the country have sponsored hundreds of car wash fund raisers of anywhere from $300 up to $12,000. Remember these fund raisers are only as successful as the amount of pledges collected.  They are based on the amount of cars that are cleaned so the more cars you clean the more money you make. For example: if someone pledged 10 cents of every car you cleaned and you cleaned 100 cars on that day. You will collect 10 cents times 100 cars which is $10.  If you got pledges from friends, neighbors, relatives and coworkers and they all pledged 10 cent a car and you cleaned 100 cars. That means you will collect $10 from each one of them. It's a very simple concept. It is just like a marathon fund raiser where you get paid for every mile you walk. Only difference here is you get paid for every car you clean. Remember, people are donating/pledging to help you raise money for your organization. They are not giving you money to clean their vehicle but they are all welcome to come down a get a free car wash. The more cars you clean, the more money you make.

The day of the event, you advertise “Free Car Washes” with the goal of doing 100 car washes in 2 or 3 hours.

Now how much money can an organization make? Let's see. If you just had 50 participants and each one of them collected pledges of 10 cents per car from 10 different people and you cleaned 100 cars. That would be 50 X $10 X 10 people = $5000. If you had 200 participants that did the same thing, it would be 200 X $10 X 10 people = $20,000.  The more participants the more money for the organization.

Water Pollution Caused by Conventional Car Wash

Environmentalists have claimed that washing cars in driveways was harmful to the environment because the runoff causes stormwater pollution.  A study from Washington proves this.  The Residential Car Washwater Monitoring Study, published in July 2009, educates public about stormwater pollution.
